About us

In this picture, from left to right; Stellan and M.Bedlam.
Stellan
Club Manager
After more then fifteen years of festival and club experience from all over Europe, and after one
more visit to Berlin and the crazy Berghain Club, Stellan came up with the idea of combining business
with pleasure in his hometown of Gothenburg. The first EMC seed was planted in his head and a couple of
months later, in 2008, the first EMC event was launched! From that point and on, it all took off to become
what it is today - a complete club concept, a ship full of ideas - with a captain named Stellan.
M. Bedlam
Organizer/ Resident DJ
In the early nineties Martin was drawn towards the electronic psychedelic scene that was evolving
in Gothenburg. As years went by, his musical direction slowly shifted from energetic Psy- and
Full-On trance to a somewhat slower, rhythmical and clubbier sound. For now, that sound is more or
less described to be within the shady boundaries of what is called Techno, Tech-House and
Progressive House. Martin is also one of the two bricks that forms the foundation of EMC.
Mikael Bröte
Resident DJ
After spending half of his lifetime listening to, and dancing to, electronic music, the time had come to
contribute! Back in the beginning of the 21st century Mikael started out as a DJ at smaller local parties.
Soon he got a huge reputation going concerning his skills, energy and catchy performances behind the decks.
As years went by things got busy and Mikael quickly became a regular face DJ:ing all over. In 2010 his pick
of music is foremost Techno.
Art & Visuals
David T is responsible for the visual look and feel of Electronic Music Club. He's one of
the two members of Monobit whom work with creative art & design projects, usually related to
different aspects of modern pop culture. David draws his inspiration from electronic music, nature,
swedish folklore, politics, science and technology. Occasionally David also stands behind a mixer, where he
likes to blend Minimal, Techno and Tech-House.
