After more then fifteen years of festival and club experience from all over Europe, and after a further visit to Berlin and the highly acclaimed Berghain club, Stellan came up with the idea of combining business with pleasure in his hometown of Gothenburg. The first EMC seed was planted in his head and a couple of months down the road, in early 2008, the first EMC event was successfully launched! From that point and on, it all took off to become what it is today; a profound club concept, a ship full of ideas, navigated by a captain named Stellan.

In the early nineties Martin was drawn towards the electronic psychedelic dance scene that was evolving in Gothenburg. As years went by, his musical direction slowly shifted from energetic Psy- and Full-On trance to a somewhat slower, rhythmical and clubbier sound. Today, years later, Martin's music selection consists solely of club-oriented music, music that is best described to be within the shady boundaries of what is called Techno and Tech-House. Martin is also one of the masterminds behind the EMC club concept.

David is not only graphically responsible for EMC's public profile but also a passionate electronica enthusiasts with a wide spectrum of genres in his CD case. The inspiration for his modern design creations and his much appreciated DJ sets are primarily derived from plain old good music and from the surroundings in general (i.e. nature, politics, science and technology). David's style is described as a funky blend of House, Techno / Tech-House and Minimal, always with a flair for the dance floor and always with a touch of the unexpected.
