The EMC club ambition is to book skillful artists and DJ's to spread their electronic music throughout the evening
and early night at our familiar venue. The first Wednesday, following the 27th each month, we open up the front door
and fire off hot electronic music.
Our musical direction is mainly electronic music attributed [Techno] [Minimal] [House] and [Progressive].
The interpretation of these attributes is up to each and every booked act to use, and develop in a constructive
and creative way.
Our club resides at the Dancin Dingo, a venue in the center of Gothenburg (Kristinelundsgatan 16),
right next to the bar street of Avenyn.

SounDog, Johan Hagen & Johnny Disconi
Wednesday the 3rd of March 20:30 - 02:00, EMC starts of the last of the winter months in Sweden
with three exciting performances. Johnny Disconi, the EMC tech-house godfather, lines up alongside with former
afro-drummer and electronic music lover Johan Hagen and the Genesis Project master mind SounDog!
Since the early 90s, SounDog has devoted most of his spare time to the electronic music scene. Back in those days he was hooked on to the
psy- goa- and progressive sound. Around 2004 he took his musical dedication a step further and started to spin records at local parties. From
that point and on he progressed quickly and he is now a regular face behind the decks at high class events throughout Sweden and Denmark.
His skills as a DJ combined with the energy transmitted by his personality and engagement for electronic music is for sure a trigger for any type
of party.
This past year his music has changed from progressive trance to Berlin-techno, this has truly worked out well for him and we at
EMC are looking forward to a rocking performance.

Johan Hagen
He is the guy from the deepest of the deep forests in the heart of Swedish Värmland who moved to Arvika back in 2003 with the ambition to refine
and develop his technique as an Afro-drummer. During his studdies at the Solberga School of Aesthetic Music he found himself walking a slighly
different musical path then he first intended to. People he met and music he came across changed his musical perspective - electronic music
suddenly became highly interesting!
Johan quickly gained a good reputaton as a skilled DJ, and pleasing people with music from behind the decks
became his mission. Ever since, he has dedicated his life to the discovering electronic dance music. Johan Hagen is now living in Gothenburg
and is eager toto keep on spreading his musical love with glittering house and funky techno.
